These pictures wore taken mid February 2009

Last fall I selected four identical Perry’s Baby Red lilies.  I fertilized all of the same, they all got the same amount of sun and were planted at the same depth in the pond.

The lily on the far left was planted in kitty litter.

The lily next to it on the right was planted in fine pea gravel.

The next lily to the right was planted in aquatic soil mix.

The farthest to the right was planted in plain dirt.
