(Pictured on the left and below) I used a garden hose to remove all the soil, as I did not want to damage the plant. You can feel with your fingers if the tuber will fall off, like a ripe fruit . After you have had more experience you can do this while the plant is still in the pot, without having to disturb the plant so it can keep growing after you harvest the tubers. |
